Candy Minimal

One of my newest obsessions is this fabulous photo phenomena called Candy Minimal. MATTCRUMP is an awesome Instagram account to get you started, but be warned, it is extremely addicting. My passion for candy and color is fed and satiated through these daily posts and I'm hoping to dabble in it as much as possible. 

Combining colors has always come easy to me and my one piece of starter advice would be to stay within the same tone. Examples: jewel tones with jewel tones, pastels with pastels, and so on and so forth. Note my rich chartreuse dress with equally saturated orange colored shoes. Once you get the hang of how it works you can venture out of 'same-tone' pairings and even get into more advanced techniques like monochrome.
