Winter Overalls

It is always a challenge trying to be creative with my wardrobe in Winter when all I want to do is throw on jeans, boots and an oversized coat most days. But alas, my fear of being basic and repeating outfits overcomes my desire to be lazy.

I saw these short denim overalls at the top of my closet and decided to figure out how to wear them in cold weather. I don't think it's fair that pieces are only made for certain climates and I refuse to be pigeon-holed by production lines or standard "norms". 

The randomized opaque look of the tights was great at the time but this only works for Fall since it is not so bitter cold yet. Next time, I will wear black fleece tights to keep things  warmer- so I suggest going that route if you try this outfit out. Would be super cute with sneakers for a more casual day time look.
