I mean how can you NOT worship a movement that created the miniskirt? The parents of 13-year-old me are still cringing over those shameless years, #sorrynotsorry. I'm sure at-home hackings of white-washed Wet Seal skirts were not what the Mods had in mind, but nonetheless, the influence was there.

The OG Mods would literally go without food in order to buy a fabulous new pair of shoes (been there, Schutz).  They are the real heroes, and we owe it to them to continue their legacy. MOD-on fellow fasho's!
